From very inexpensive Boyce Park, to the challenge of Blue Knob, to the well-rated Seven Springs, area ski resorts await! Despite slightly overcast skies in Western Pennsylvania this morning, the sun managed to lighten Gobblers Knob in the small town of Punxsutawney just enough to cause the world famous furry forecaster Punxsutawney Phil to see his shadow upon emerging from his warm burrow. It always seems backwards to me, but the bright sky (and Phils shadow) means six more weeks of winter, and not the early spring many are probably hoping for, although our winter has been so unusually mild many of you probably dont care.
